Coronavirus (Covid-19) Catch-up Premium

Use of Funds: To be used specifically for the expenses incurred in directly increasing pupil attainment. Our funds have been spent on additional teaching time to aid with activities, such as group interventions. 

Budget = £33,913.00 (19,648.00 carried over from 2020/21 to be spent by August 2022 - £14,265.00 income in year 2021/22 to be spent by 31.08.2023)

2021/2022 Expenditure:

• We have incurred the cost of additional teaching time/PPA cover to give our teaching staff the ability to perform specific catch up activities. In support of this, temporary staff have been employed at a cost to the school of £16,550.00.
• £9,000.00 of this funding has been spent on additional Teaching Assistant time. 15 hours annualised for all TA's was implemented as of 01/09/2021, an arrangement made for the 2021/22 academic year. This additional time was used for training and regular safeguarding/welfare meetings.
• Additional supply cost were also incurred to enable teaching staff to devote one to one time to support students. 

• Carry Forward to 2022/23: £7,230.00, which we intend to spend on similar activities targeting pupil attainment.
