PSHE

In order to ensure that our children grow into adults with the ability to adapt and succeed in a diverse and evolving global society, we encourage our children to be individuals who: develop the skills and knowledge to pursue a productive and fulfilling life; know how to  learn independently; demonstrate respectcuriosityperseverance and courage; take on responsibilities in the service of others and act out of love and friendship.

Specifically through PSHE (Personal, social, health and economic education) we aim to ensure that all of our children have the best possible start to life so that they grow up happy, healthy and safe. We therefore will:

  • provide pupils with strategies to maintain personal wellbeing, promote resilience and equip pupils with skills to keep themselves and others safe
  • promote an atmosphere celebrating equality and diversity
  • promote body confidence, self-esteem and challenge stereotypes.

This page contains the briefing for our families about our Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) curriculum as well as a downloadable copy of the curriculum overview. To access the video you will need a password which was Ping messaged out to our families. It can be obtained from the school office on request.
