We want to hear from teachers with a passion for teaching in the Early Years who can join our
Reception team.
We are looking for a teacher who is committed to developing happy and confident learners within
the context of our school values.
At St Nicolas we are extremely fortunate to have extensive grounds and excellent facilities and to
be situated in Portslade within walking distance of both the sea and the South Downs all of which
open up possibilities when planning exciting and rich curriculum experiences for our pupils.
If you are a keen and creative teacher who is able to inspire and motivate learners, you have QTS
and would like to join St Nicolas Primary School we would like to hear from you.
You will already be excellent at building relationships with children and their parents as well as
having a deep understanding of the way children learn.
If you are an ‘early career teacher’ you will be able to demonstrate excellent potential from your
teaching practices.
We consider our school to be an inclusive place of learning for everyone. We offer a highly
supportive and friendly staff team. We have successfully supported new teachers and aspiring
leaders of all levels to develop and improve. We provide a good environment to give you the right
start or to progress an already successful career.
