A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right. Good parenting and high-quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.’

At St Nicolas Primary School we understand the importance of providing a rich, broad and balanced curriculum in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We make learning engaging and assessable by following the children’s interests and enquiries throughout the school year.

By the end of Reception, it is our intent that the children will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to prepare them to become independent lifelong learners. We encapsulate our school values in everything we do and help guide them into becoming the best version of themselves.
